These programs sit at the intersection of customer experience, all customers workflows, and scalable platform architecture.\nIn this role, you will partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to deliver complex, multi-quarter initiatives that directly impact customer experience, operational efficiency, and business growth.\nAs a TPM, you will operate at the intersection of technology, product, and execution. You’ll own end-to-end delivery across distributed systems and influence how we scale Data at Chewy.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn and drive end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs across Chewy’s Data technology stack, from concept through launch and post-launch optimization\n\nTranslate business objectives into clear technical requirements, milestones, and execution plans\n\nNavigate complex system dependencies across backend services and platform infrastructure\n\nIdentify risks, tradeoffs, and bottlenecks early; drive mitigation strategies and escalate effectively when needed\n\nPartner with engineering teams in architecture and design discussions to understand system tradeoffs and inform execution plans\n\nEstablish and drive operational rigor through program reviews, metrics, status reporting, and retrospectives\n\nDrive clear communication and alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership\n\nOwn and drive sound Data Governance across Chewy in partnership with other disciplines.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role delivering large-scale, cross-functional technical initiatives.\n\nProven experience leading multi-team, multi-system programs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment\n\nStrong technical fluency with distributed Data systems, reporting technologies such as Snowflake and Tableau, data pipelines, and cloud-based architectures\n\nAbility to engage in architecture discussions, understand system tradeoffs, and influence technical decision-making\n\nExperience managing complex dependencies across engineering, product, data, and business stakeholders\n\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences, including executives\n\nHighly organized, execution-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and bias toward action\n\nBonus\nExperience building or scaling customer-facing Data products in eCommerce or marketplace environments\n\nExperience in agentic systems\n\nExperience working on systems that span both customer-facing experiences and internal platforms\n\nThe base salary range for this role is $129,500 - $207,000.00.The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
