You’ll own end-to-end delivery across distributed systems and influence how we scale engineering practices and cloud operations at Chewy.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWork with engineering leaders to translate business objectives into clear technical requirements, milestones, and execution plans\nDefine and manage our approach to tiered data storage across our cloud network\nOrganize the setting of all cloud technical and financial alarm thresholds and organize responses to them.\nWork with Tech Leaders to understand/answer technical questions on the costs of their cloud spend, answer finance's technical questions on technical issues.\nOwn and drive end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs across Chewy’s code management and CICD programs from concept through launch and post-launch optimization\nNavigate complex user and system dependencies across backend services and platform infrastructure\nIdentify risks, tradeoffs, and bottlenecks early; drive mitigation strategies and escalate effectively when needed\nPartner with engineering teams in architecture and design discussions to understand system tradeoffs and inform execution plans\nEstablish and drive operational rigor through program reviews, metrics, status reporting, and retrospectives\nDrive clear communication and alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership\nOwn and drive sound Data Governance across Chewy in partnership with other disciplines.\nWhat You’ll Need\n5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role delivering large-scale, cross-functional technical initiatives.\nProven experience leading multi-team, multi-system programs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment\nStrong technical fluency with cloud resources, ecommerce technologies, and cloud-based architectures\nExperience working with Finance and financial concepts.\nAbility to engage in architecture discussions, understand system tradeoffs, and influence technical decision-making\nExperience managing complex dependencies across engineering, product, data, and business stakeholders\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences, including executives\nHighly organized, execution-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and bias toward action\nNice to Have\nExperience building and scaling software products in eCommerce or marketplace environments\nExperience with DevOps, Code Management, and Security\nExperience in agentic systems\nExperience working on systems that span both customer-facing experiences and internal platforms\nThe base salary range for this role is $129,500 - $207,000.00.The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
