You will build and ship models that help Sales and other business partners make better, faster decisions. Working alongside data engineers and analysts, you will turn raw data into reliable features, test your ideas, and explain the results in plain language. At this level, you own projects from question to production with light guidance, and you help newer teammates grow.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and validate machine learning and statistical models that solve defined business problems\nExplore large datasets to find trends and insights, and partner with data engineers to create and refine the features your models need\nDesign and analyze experiments to measure the impact of data-driven initiatives\nPresent findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear way that supports decisions\nWork with engineers, product managers, and business partners in an agile environment to put models into products and processes, following CHG data privacy and security standards\nQualifications\nExplore critical relationships and make strategic recommendations\nWork closely with the strategic analytics team and other key stakeholders\nSet clear evaluation metrics and test your own work thoroughly before it ships\nExplain technical results to non-technical audiences\nKeep up with new data science and machine learning methods and bring ideas to the team\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field\n3-5 years of experience building and validating machine learning or statistical models\n3-5 years of experience using Python or R for data analysis and modeling\n3-5 years of SQL experience writing medium to complex queries\nDemonstrated experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization tools or libraries\nPreferred\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field\nExperience deploying models to production\nExperience with Snowflake and dbt\nFamiliarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms\nWe believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $104,000 -- $201,300 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses.
