Throughout the product development lifecycle, you will collaborate with other engineers and product counterparts to design and deliver new platform capabilities and key product initiatives. Your passion for technical excellence will drive progress in modernizing our tech stack, simplifying system architecture, and automating manual workflows to ensure the scalability and efficiency of our platform.\nWhat you'll do:\nDevelop new platform capabilities and product offerings, from design through launch.\nBalance speed to market with long-term growth, designing with foresight and building for the present.\nCollaborate with the Product department to define appropriately sized initiatives and shape a roadmap that meets business needs quarter over quarter.\nPreserve customer goodwill by ensuring system availability, participating in on-call rotations, addressing support requests, and taking preventive measures to improve reliability.\nProvide guidance to junior engineers on the team and across the organization.\nPlay an active role in the continuous improvement of the engineering organization through lunch discussions, team presentations, and reviews with senior leadership.\nWhat you bring:\nAdvanced English proficiency (non-negotiable requirement). To apply, please attach your CV in English.\n5+ years of backend software development experience with strong proficiency in Ruby (preferred), Golang, or JavaScript/TypeScript.\nSolid knowledge of computer science fundamentals, such as relational and non-relational databases, data structures, algorithms, and REST APIs.\nProficiency in React.\nExperience in domain modeling, object design, and system architecture.\nProven experience writing clear, tested, and concise code.\nCompetence in setting expectations and making informed decisions through project estimates based on available information.\nAbility to draft and review technical proposals, providing constructive feedback and articulating trade-offs.\nStrong sense of accountability across all aspects of the development lifecycle, including incident response and ownership of product robustness.\nDesire to collaborate and share knowledge with peers, both within the team and across the organization.\nAn A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.\nPay Transparency Disclosure\nWe use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
