Position requires strong interpersonal skills and compassion and respect for persons with disabilities.\nEssential Functions:\nComply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications\nKeep up with contract changes, modifications, and provisions\nProvide and maintain a quality control program directly related to Chimes District of Columbia required training programs and approved by the site contracting office, Chimes District of Columbia management, and building management\nAssure that the performance objectives and standards identified in the specifications are met through the Quality Control Program\nOversee and coordinate the quality control functions of this contract\nPerform all Quality Control duties daily\nInspect all cleaning work performed to ensure proper cleaning and quality control\nMake daily routine inspections and submit reports to the Project Manager\nGive feedback on inspections to managers, supervisors, and crew leaders\nReview and respond to inspection/deduction reports\nMaintain a file of inspection reports and other required records\nProvide inspection reports to the Chief Operating Officer or designee as requested\nReduce and control the number of cleaning complaints\nMaintain effective communication by responding promptly to contracting office staff, building management, customers, and Chimes DC staff and management\nUtilize inspections to ensure a continuous improvement process\nStrive to improve customer satisfaction\nPrepare and submit all required paperwork on time\nUse the computer to download information; This means that when the facility is faced with an institutional emergency, employees in this position may be required to remain at their work location or to report to work to protect, recover, and continue operations at the facility.\nEducation:\nHigh School diploma or Plus experience\nValid CPR/FA certification preferred\nKnowledge of green cleaning principles and CIMS certification requirements\nKnowledge of regulatory standards, hospital standards, and facility management\nKnowledge about regulations for SDS, Fire and Safety, Hazard Communications and Bloodborne Pathogens\nExperience:\nMinimum two (2) years’ experience within the past five (5) years in performing quality control inspections or managing a quality control program for similar services\nDemonstrated ability and knowledge of building service management as well as relevant equipment and chemicals and their applications\nNotes:\nAt the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted in lieu of the requirements specified above under Education and Experience\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here:\nMedical plan starting at $13.80/mo.
