Alongside running the existing panel, you'll help us bring new banks on board and improve the products they offer through Chip.\nWhat you can expect to be doing:\nAct as a primary day-to-day contact for each bank on our panel, running regular check-ins, resolving operational issues and escalating where needed\n\nWork with Treasury to monitor deposit flows, funding targets and capacity at each bank, flagging early when a bank is approaching its limits or a product is due to mature\n\nSupport the VP Commercial in commercial negotiations on rates, margins, funding commitments and contract terms, preparing the analysis and materials that go into them\n\nHelp grow the panel by researching and approaching new banks, building the case for each, and supporting them through to launch\n\nWork with banks on improving the products they offer through Chip, feeding in customer and market insight and helping shape new product terms\n\nGet hands-on with bank onboarding: due diligence, legal and contractual documentation, account opening, client money acknowledgement letters, and coordinating technical and operational readiness with internal teams\n\nSupport ongoing oversight of panel banks, including performance against agreed terms and SLAs, periodic due diligence refreshes, financial health monitoring and outsourcing and third-party risk requirements\n\nKeep relationship records, contracts and oversight evidence up to date and audit-ready\n\nHelp build out the processes and playbooks the team will rely on as it grows\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n3+ years' experience in bank relationship management, treasury, deposit partnerships or a similar role, either at a bank, a savings platform or a fintech working with banking partners\n\nA solid understanding of how banks think about retail deposit funding, pricing and liquidity\n\nExperience supporting commercial negotiations and contract discussions\n\nComfort working through detailed onboarding and due diligence processes without losing momentum\n\nClear, credible communication with senior stakeholders at partner banks\n\nWillingness to roll up your sleeves in a small, growing team\n\nNice to have\nExperience at a deposit aggregator or savings platform\n\nFamiliarity with FCA client money (CASS) rules and outsourcing and third-party risk management\n\nAn existing network across UK challenger and specialist banks\n\nWhat we’re really looking for:\nWe’re looking for someone who’s genuinely excited about Chip and energised by the opportunity to help build the future of wealth, making saving, investing and pensions simpler and more accessible for everyone.\nWe work in a regulated space, so the bar is high.
