You'll build customer-facing interfaces, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure. You will also be expected to be able to communicate with users, our internal customer success team, and any other stakeholders in order to turn ambiguous requirements into useful and reliable software.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild and maintain backend services and platform infrastructure for the ChipAgents platform.\n\nDesign and implement delightful interfaces for a new generation of agentic chip design tools.\n\nDebug and troubleshoot production issues across distributed systems and cloud environments.\n\nCollaborate with product, research, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\n\nSupport customer deployments and integrations, providing technical guidance and solutions.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nB.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.\n\nStrong programming fundamentals with proficiency in statically-typed languages (TypeScript, Java, Go, or similar).\n\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)\n\nProven ability to debug complex issues and write maintainable and extendable code.\n\nExperience designing systems for scalability, reliability, and performance in production environments.\n\nStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with customers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.\n\nPreferred (Nice-to-Have)\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).\n\nFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).\n\nExperience building agents or applications based on Large Language Models\n\nUnderstanding of DevOps practices and deployment workflows.\n\nExperience working in fast-paced startup environments.\n\nPrior experience in EDA, semiconductor, or technical B2B software.\n\nWhy Join ChipAgents\nWork on cutting-edge technology that is transforming semiconductor design.\n\nCollaborate with a world-class team of AI researchers, engineers, and industry veterans.\n\nBuild robust infrastructure and backend systems that power products used by leading chip companies.\n\nWhat you might work on\nIntegrating our AI platform with EDA tools, communication platforms, developer workflows, and CI/CD infrastructure.\n\nBuilding collaboration features that help chip-design teams share context, coordinate work, and work effectively with AI agents.\n\nDeveloping reliable infrastructure for long-running agent workflows across local and cloud environments.\n\nImproving the observability, performance, and reliability of multi-agent systems.\n\nWhat we offer\n$150K/yr - $350K/yr + Offers Equity.
