We invite you to apply today for our Data Engineer II role and #MakeItYourChoice.\nYour Responsibilities\nDesign, build, maintain, and optimize batch extract-transform-load (ETL/ELT) pipelines and data models that power analytics, reporting, and business operations, with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and efficient resource use. \nPartner with business operations and regional leaders to clarify requirements, define metrics, establish delivery expectations, and prioritize work based on business impact. \nDeliver items from the data and analytics backlog, including pipelines, models, dashboards, and ad hoc requests, and reduce future demand by automating recurring requests and building reusable, self-serve data assets. \nProtect the quality and consistency of key business metrics across regions and systems by implementing automated data validation, transformation testing, reconciliation, monitoring, and alerting to confirm data accuracy, completeness, and freshness. \nMonitor production pipelines, troubleshoot failures, investigate data discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and document recurring issues to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead, including participation in the on-call rotation. \nSupport the evaluation and migration of our data integration tools, including pipeline inventory, validation, parallel runs, and retirement of legacy jobs. \nSupport our internal conversational analytics application by maintaining data connections, improving data quality for its answers, and helping measure usage and accuracy. \nPrototype quickly with users, gather feedback, and turn successful prototypes into production-ready solutions. \nWrite clean, tested, well-documented code and take part in code and design reviews. \nDocument standards and runbooks (step-by-step operating guides), and provide training and hands-on support to drive adoption of delivered solutions.\nYour Experience, Skills & Competencies\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, or equivalent experience.\nAt least 3 years’ experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or software engineering.\nStrong SQL and Python skills.\nHands-on experience with modern ELT/ETL tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte, Airflow, Matillion) and a cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).\nExperience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices for data pipelines, including automated testing, version-controlled deployments, and promotion of changes across development and production environments, using tools such as Harness, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.\nProficiency with Git-based source control (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab), including pull requests and branching strategies.\nFamiliarity with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nSolid understanding of data modeling concepts, such as dimensional modeling and slowly changing dimensions.\nStrong communication skills and comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and make sound tradeoffs in a fast-moving environment.\nProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.\nDemonstrates key competencies to include: Cultivates Innovation, Action Oriented, Nimble Learning.\nPreferred: experience with infrastructure as code and containerization (e.g., Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes) and with data governance and observability tools (e.g., Monte Carlo, Great Expectations).\nPreferred: experience with data platform or tooling migrations, applications that use large language models (LLMs) or conversational interfaces, or business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.\nYour Team\nThis is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager, Data Engineering.
