This role facilitates instructor-led training in both virtual and in-person environments, develops and maintains learning content across multiple platforms, and understands stakeholder needs to help them drive adoption of operational programs, systems, and strategic initiatives. The position serves as a subject matter expert in learning delivery methodologies and hospitality operations, helping hotels to perform at their best with guest service, revenue generation, and operations, while promoting a culture of continuous development and professional growth.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nFacilitation and Delivery of Learning Programs\nFacilitate live virtual and in-person learning programs for franchisees, hotel staff, and contact center associates.\n\nLead or assist in the delivery of Hotel Operations Certification programs and related workshops for owners and General Managers.\n\nFacilitate virtual and in-person workshop topicsand ensure a high-quality learning experience.\n\nDeliver interactive webinars, workshops, coaching sessions, and educational programming at the Choice annual convention.\n\nUtilize virtual learning technologies, including Zoom and related platforms, to support engaging and effective instruction.\n\nContent Development and Program Maintenance\nCreate, update, and maintain learning content across multiple delivery methods, including:\nInstructor-led training materials\n\nVirtual workshops\n\neLearning courses\n\nVideos\n\nReference guides and job aids\n\nEvaluate learning materials regularly to ensure content remains accurate, relevant, compliant, and aligned with business priorities.\n\nSupport instructional design efforts and collaborate with learning partners to improve program effectiveness.\n\nStakeholder Engagement and Collaboration\nSupport initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction, operational excellence, revenue generation, and brand performance.\n\nCollaborate with department representatives, franchisees, owner associations, and area directors to develop and deliver learning that support organizational objective.\n\nCoaching and Subject Matter Expertise\nProvide guidance and consultation on learning best practices and operational training requirements.\n\nPromote certification programs and continuous learning opportunities across hotel and contact center operations.\n\nMeeting and Event Participation\nDeliver educational content at annual conventions, regional workshops, onboarding programs, owner association events, and other company-sponsored learning events.\n\nSupport preparation, logistics, and facilitation for learning events and conferences for Choice and owner association learning events.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEmployment Experience\nMinimum of 3 years of hospitality, hotel operations, learning and development, training, facilitation, or related experience.\n\nDemonstrated experience facilitating instructor-led training programs in both virtual and in-person environments.\n\nExperience supporting operational excellence, guest service initiatives, brand standards, revenue management, or contact center operations preferred.\n\nExperience in instructional design, curriculum development, or learning content creation preferred.\n\nTechnical Skills\nProficiency with Zoom and virtual learning technologies.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\n\nExperience with learning management systems and content development tools preferred.\n\nAbility to develop and maintain digital learning resources and training materials.\n\nAdditional Skills & Competencies\nExcellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication abilities.\n\nAbility to engage diverse learner audiences and adapt delivery methods to learning needs.\n\nStrong organizational and project management skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.\n\nAbility to model organizational values, integrity, curiosity, inclusiveness, respect, responsiveness, and accountability.\n\nEducation Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Education, Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.\n\nSALARY RANGE\nThe salary range for this position is $75,553- $88,886.\nChoice prioritizes our associate wellbeing by offering a comprehensive benefits program that is both competitive and flexible to help you achieve your wellbeing goals - here are just a few:\nCompetitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage\nLeave and paid time-off for holidays, vacation, personal, family, volunteer, sick, jury duty, bereavement, military, and religious observance\nFinancial benefits for retirement and health savings\nEmployee recognition programs\nDiscounts at Choice hotels worldwide\nAbout Choice\nChoice Hotels International, Inc.
