This key leadership role will drive quality, patient safety, and process improvement initiatives across the health system while supporting our journey toward becoming a highly reliable organization. The PI Program Manager serves as a strategic partner to clinical and operational leaders, utilizing data, performance improvement methodologies, and change management strategies to deliver measurable results that enhance patient care and operational excellence.\nPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will:\nLead and facilitate complex performance improvement, patient safety, and quality initiatives across the organization.\nApply Lean, Six Sigma, Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA), and other performance improvement methodologies to improve outcomes and processes.\nUtilize quality improvement tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone Diagrams, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, and 5 Whys to identify opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.\nAnalyze clinical, operational, and performance data to measure outcomes, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making.\nDesign and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and performance metrics to ensure successful project execution.\nDevelop and present dashboards, scorecards, reports, and visual presentations to communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Nursing, Medical Staff, Population Health, Care Management, Information Services, Patient Safety, Accreditation, and Quality leaders.\nServe as a mentor, educator, and change leader to promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and accountability.\nSupport organizational readiness and compliance efforts related to Joint Commission, CMS, Magnet, and other regulatory requirements.\nEducation & Experience\nRequired:\nBachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.\nCurrent Delaware RN licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.\nMinimum of three years of relevant healthcare quality, patient safety, performance improvement, or related experience.\nDemonstrated experience leading projects and facilitating interdisciplinary teams within a healthcare setting.\nPreferred:\nCertified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).\nLean Six Sigma certification.\nProject Management certification.\nExperience with electronic medical records and data analytics platforms.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Tableau, and other reporting and data analysis tools.\nWhy ChristianaCare?\nAt ChristianaCare, we believe in investing in our caregivers.
