We are seeking an experienced healthcare IT leader with knowledge of Imaging and Cardiovascular Information Systems, responsible for the supervision, support, implementation, and optimization of critical clinical applications. Demonstrated expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating complex technology initiatives, and partnering with clinical, operational, and vendor stakeholders to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency. Proven background supporting enterprise imaging and cardiology environments, includingPhilips PACS,PowerScribe,Merge, andFuji Synapse platforms. Experienced in system administration, workflow analysis, application integration, upgrades, troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning across radiology, cardiology, and related service lines.

Skilled in leading application analysts and support staff, establishing operational priorities, managing vendor relationships, overseeing system performance, and ensuring the availability and reliability of mission-critical applications. Strong track record of delivering technology solutions that improve clinical workflows, increase provider satisfaction, and support organizational objectives within complex healthcare environments.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To coordinate and lead the activities and performance of staff members within a small team focused on implementing and supporting enabling information technology solutions and services.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads small teams of individuals including managing recruitment, retention, staffing plans, and performance accountability.
  • Manages operational readiness of existing systems and services.
  • Helps to resolve barriers and conflicts (resource, timing, financial, sequencing) between multiple projects and project teams. Resolves issues before they become barriers to successful project implementations.
  • Develops and maintains effective lines of communication and relationships with IT leaders and staff, and appropriate CCHS leaders and staff to ensure IT department is delivering effective and efficient projects and services.
  • Provides and presents organizational communication and education related to the areas of responsibility. Ensures communications are consistent and coordinated.
  • Leads organizational and departmental performance improvement activities
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities for continuing professional development to increase understanding of assigned areas, information technology direction, and healthcare direction.
  • Manages projects using CCHS-specific project management methodology to deliver technology that drives business/clinical benefit
  • Develops and manages budget for specific projects.
  • Manages vendor relationships within scope of project-specific work.
  • Provides intake mechanism for organizational ideas and leads the champion/sponsor through the initial stages of the project management methodology, to position the project for approval, and coordinate the handoff to the appropriate project manager.
  • Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in a discipline related to the assigned area.
  • 4+ years of project and/or resource management experience with an emphasis on experience with multi-disciplinary projects, systems and/or teams.
Annual Compensation Range $112,382.40 - $179,816.00This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
