CMAC is looking for CDL Drivers (A or B required) in our Northern Virginia/DC Metro region.\nWhat You Will Do:\nAs a CDL Driver (A or B), your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:\nAssists with maintaining warehouse conditions to a high standard of safety, organization, and cleanliness inside and outside facility.\nChecks documentation for completeness and accuracy.\nInspects loads to ensure that cargo is secure.\nReports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage.\nMaintains logs and other documentation, as required.\nFollows delivery instructions accordingly.\nChecks condition of trailers and equipment, reporting any issues immediately.\nSecures cargo for transport, using provided and required equipment.\nFollows appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods.\nPerforms basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including emergency roadside repairs.\nLoads and unloads trucks utilizing a forklift or other equipment.\nRepairs and maintains tools and equipment.\nPrepares orders for delivery.\nDrives trucks, and delivers orders to construction sites.\nPerforms basic computer functions.\nAssists with the maintenance of the vehicle yard.\nWhat You Will Bring to the Team\nRequired experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include:\nTwo (2) years of applicable experience delivering equipment.\nBasic computer knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nCurrent and valid CDL A or B License\nRequires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record and must comply with DOT and other applicable requirements.\n-or- Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.\nPay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour\nTravel: Travel to project sites to make deliveries is required.
