What you do here has real-world impact—every day.\n\nShift: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 2:30p-11:00p\nShift Differential: $3.00/ hr\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nCross-train and perform production operations across multiple manufacturing areas.\nUse hand tools, power tools, machinery, and shop equipment to prepare, clean, process, repair, and assemble aerospace components.\nFollow work instructions and procedures to cut, shape, bond, form, inject, cure, trim, drill, and repair composite and metal parts.\nPerform chemical cleaning and surface preparation processes.\nConduct hand cleaning operations including acid etch, sanding, blending, and deburring.\nUse measuring and inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, and tapes, to verify quality requirements.\nInspect and certify your own work in accordance with established standards.\nLoad, transport, and stage components throughout the manufacturing process.\nOperate material handling equipment such as hoists, cranes, and industrial trucks as authorized.\nFollow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and manufacturing standards.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.\nAbility to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions.\nAbility to safely use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and manufacturing machinery.\nAbility to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and manufacturing documentation.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn multiple manufacturing processes.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.\nCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\n\nNice to Have\nManufacturing or production experience.\nAutobody, mechanical, assembly, or industrial repair experience.\nExperience using hand tools, gauges, and inspection equipment.\nExperience working from written work instructions and standardized procedures.\nExperience operating cranes, hoists, or material handling equipment.\n\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nManufacturing environment with exposure to industrial equipment, chemicals, machinery, and production processes.\nRegular standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, and repetitive hand movements throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift up to 25 lbs from floor to waist and from waist to shoulder level.\nAbility to pull up to 40 lbs.\nRequired to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety requirements.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3082,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"high_school","optional":true},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"Upper-Intermediate (B2)","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-01T21:21:36Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":33,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.602,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":30,"expected_fill_days":21,"reasons":["conf:1","velocity","win:tail","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-04T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/chromalloy-2nd-shift-production-operator","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/chromalloy-2nd-shift-production-operator.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-05T02:07:05Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2816,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":2184,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-06T00:00:00Z"}}}
