What you do here has real-world impact—every day.\n\nShift: 5th shift, Friday-Sunday 5:00p-5:00a\nShift Differential: $3.50\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nSet up, operate, and monitor EDM equipment, including sinker EDM and EDM machining centers.\nLead daily production activities and help ensure scheduled work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.\nCommunicate production priorities, department performance, and operational issues to supervisors and team members.\nLoad and verify programs, install tooling and fixtures, and verify machine setup before production begins.\nTroubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain throughput.\nProduce parts in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications.\nPerform inspections using precision measuring equipment and verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish requirements.\nIdentify and document nonconforming conditions and support corrective actions.\nMaintain production records and traceability documentation.\nSupport employee training, coaching, and cross-training activities.\nParticipate in root cause investigations, TPM activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nHelp maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment aligned with 5S/6S standards.\nSupport compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, customer, and company requirements.\nServe as a technical resource and escalation point for operators on the shift.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.\nExperience setting up and operating EDM equipment in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, operation sheets, and manufacturing documentation.\nExperience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\nWorking knowledge of EDM machining principles, machine setup, and process optimization.\nBasic computer skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while supporting team performance and production objectives.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\n\nNice to Have\n3+ years of EDM machining experience.\nPrevious team lead, trainer, or informal leadership experience.\nAerospace manufacturing experience.\nExperience with sinker EDM and wire EDM processes.\nKnowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).\nCNC machining experience.\nTooling, fixture setup, and workholding experience.\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems.\nLean manufacturing, operational excellence, or continuous improvement experience.\nFamiliarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and aerospace quality standards.\n\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nManufacturing environment with exposure to machining equipment, oils, coolants, noise, and metalworking processes.\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.\nFrequent reaching, bending, stooping, and repetitive hand movements.\nAbility to handle tooling, fixtures, and machined components throughout the workday.\nAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.\nAbility to safely operate industrial manufacturing equipment.\nVisual acuity sufficient to inspect precision components and read measuring instruments.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and other required safety
