Working within legacy ERP and document management systems to ensure data is clearly described and written at a level for operators to comprehend. \n\nCRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:\nPrevious experience as a mid-level member of a technical team supporting the development of technical documentation.\nProven ability to work within Epicor and other ERP systems.\nProven ability to develop manufacturing process documents that comply with regulatory requirements.\nTypically 2 to 4 years’ experience in writing Aerospace or Industrial gas turbine engine engineering documentation.\n\nTYPICAL EDUCATION:\nTechnology degree or equivalent\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES/TASKS:\nAssemble master list of operations\nCreate approved data to work scope matrix\nCreate part numbers to work scope matrix\nCreate work instructions for each operation\nStandardize work instructions across part families\nIdentify equipment capability per operation\nCreate Bill of Materials\nCreate part number and repair code park marking instructions\nPopulate Epicor data by operation\nAssemble Rework work scopes\nCollaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment to consistently develop standardized documentation.\nPrepare accurate written technical reports, specifications, procedures and manuals\nPrepare and deliver presentations of work to all levels of external and internal customers\nTrains less experienced technical staff\nWork in a lab and field environments. \nOccasional travel required.\n\nSKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/PROFICIENCIES:\nFamiliar with technical language and manufacturing methodologies \nUnderstanding of various measuring techniques including CMM, white-light/laser scanning, gages, ..\nGeneral interpretation of engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications\nWorking knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, CI and 6 sigma methodology\nWorking knowledge of quality systems and documentation management.\nThoughtful and effective communications skills\nAbility to read, write, and speak fluently in English\nProficiency in Epicor, Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project\n\nSPECIAL
