What you do here has real-world impact—every day.\n\nShift: 4th shift, Friday – Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. \nShift Differential: $3.00\n\nTraining: New hires are required to attend New Hire Orientation (Monday, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.) and first-week training (Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.). Additional training outside the assigned shift schedule may be required based on business needs or availability. Upon successful completion of training, employees will transition to their assigned shift.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nSet up, adjust, and operate rough finishing equipment, including cut-off, sandblasting, knockout, trim cut, and grinding machines.\nReview engineering instructions, specifications, and routers before processing parts.\nVerify part numbers, heat numbers, and previous operation sign-offs.\nInspect parts throughout the process to ensure quality and accuracy.\nIdentify cracks, heat checks, defects, or damage and escalate concerns to supervision or engineering.\nPlace completed work in designated locations for the next operation.\nReport equipment issues or malfunctions promptly.\nFollow all safety requirements and ensure guards and shields are in place during operation.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.\n3+ months of manufacturing, machine operation, grinding, finishing, or related experience preferred.\nAbility to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions.\nAbility to read and follow work instructions, specifications, routers, and safety procedures.\nBasic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or quality concerns.\nMechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate industrial equipment.\nAbility to troubleshoot routine equipment or process issues.\nAbility to work safely and effectively in a team environment.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience operating grinding, cut-off, sandblasting, or finishing equipment.\nExperience in foundry, casting, aerospace, or manufacturing environments.\nExperience with production documentation and quality inspections.\nFamiliarity with metal finishing or material removal processes.\n\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nManufacturing environment with moving machinery, vibration, dust, and high noise levels.\nRegular standing, reaching, and use of hands for equipment operation and material handling.\nAbility to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs frequently.\nClose vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment required for inspection and finishing tasks.\nRequired to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, safety glasses, hand protection, and safety-toed
