What you do here has real-world impact—every day.\n\nShift: 4th shift, Friday-Sunday 7:00am-7:00pm\nUnion: This position is represented by Local 475.\nStarting Rate: $28.64/hr\nTraining: New hires must be available to train on 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:00p for a minimum of 90 days before transitioning to their regularly assigned shift. \n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nOperate low-pressure plasma coating, robotic spray, and manual air spray systems to apply coatings to aerospace components.\nSelect and verify the appropriate powder specifications for each component and process.\nProduce components in accordance with approved procedures and specifications.\nRead and monitor pressure gauges, flow meters, and other process controls to ensure proper equipment operation.\nPerform routine maintenance on plasma equipment, including powder specification changes, nozzle and electrode replacement, and powder feed line changes.\nInspect and verify component dimensions using precision measuring tools and gauges.\nFollow detailed work instructions, process specifications, and quality requirements.\nMaintain production schedules while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.\nFollow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\n1+ years of experience operating low-pressure plasma coating, robotic spray, or manual air spray systems.\nExperience selecting powders and coating parameters for production components.\nExperience using measuring instruments to verify critical dimensions.\nAbility to read and interpret pressure gauges, flow meters, and process indicators.\nExperience performing routine maintenance on plasma coating equipment.\nAbility to read, understand, and follow work instructions and manufacturing procedures.\nAbility to wear a respirator and comply with all PPE requirements.\nAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.\n\nNice to Have\nAutobody, mechanical, or industrial equipment maintenance background.\nExperience in aerospace manufacturing or thermal spray operations.\nExperience using hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.\nPrevious manufacturing experience working in a controlled process environment.\nMechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nWork is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, moving equipment, noise, fumes, and varying temperatures.\nFrequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching throughout the workday.\nRegular lifting and movement of materials up to 30 pounds.\nRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety
