world.\n\nLocation: Tampa, FL\nSchedule: On-Site\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nEnsure compliance with AS9100, customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and internal quality procedures.\nLead investigations of nonconforming material, customer escapes, and quality system issues using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), and Five Why analysis.\nDevelop, maintain, and improve inspection plans, control plans, quality procedures, and work instructions.\nPerform First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with AS9102 requirements.\nAnalyze quality performance data and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and process capability.\nSupport internal, customer, and third-party audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.\nMonitor key quality metrics including scrap, rework, yield, customer complaints, and process performance.\nPartner with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.\nParticipate in process validation activities, production readiness reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to establish and verify quality standards.\nDevelop inspection methods, testing approaches, and quality controls to ensure product conformity.\nPrepare reports and present findings related to quality performance, investigations, and improvement opportunities.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.\nExperience working in a manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, or highly regulated environment.\nKnowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), quality tools, and root cause analysis methodologies.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.\n\nNice to Have\nASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).\nASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).\nExperience working within an AS9100-certified environment.\nExperience performing First Article Inspections (AS9102).\nKnowledge of statistical analysis, process capability studies, and continuous improvement
