As a people leader, you'll play a key role in developing talent, improving processes, and delivering results that help keep aircraft flying safely around the world.\n\nLocation: On-Site, San Diego, California \nShift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday from 5:00am to 2:00pm \n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLead daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals.\nAssign, prioritize, and execute production schedules to meet customer commitments.\nDevelop and coach production employees through training, cross-training, performance management, and career development.\nBuild team capability, engagement, accountability, and workforce flexibility.\nFoster a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, continuous learning, and operational excellence.\nPartner with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Maintenance, and Human Resources to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.\nLead teams through production challenges, shifting priorities, and urgent customer requirements.\nDrive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, continuous improvement, and process optimization initiatives.\nAnalyze operational issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.\nMonitor production performance and drive actions to improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery results.\nEnsure compliance with quality, safety, customer, regulatory, and company requirements.\nMaintain a well-organized, efficient, and productive work environment through strong workplace organization and visual management practices.\nSupport recruiting, onboarding, employee development, and retention efforts.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n3+ years of experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment.\nBachelor's degree preferred.\nProven success developing production employees through coaching, cross-training, performance management, and career development.\nStrong employee coaching, talent development, and conflict resolution skills.\nExperience building high-performing teams through training, accountability, and engagement.\nDemonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Value Stream Improvement, or Process Optimization.\nStrong technical understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, root cause analysis, and process improvement methodologies.\nExperience partnering with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Maintenance, and other support functions to solve complex operational challenges and support customer commitments.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.\nSelf-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability.\n\nNice to Have\nAerospace, FAA repair station, machining, welding, inspection, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience\nSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification\nExperience with production scheduling, manufacturing metrics, and labor planning\nA&P License or ability to obtain a Repairman Certificate, if required by site operations\n\nLeadership Expectations and Values\nModel the Way – Leads with integrity and accountability, holding themselves to the same standards expected of others and consistently following through on commitments.\nInspire a Shared Vision – Connects team efforts to a clear, meaningful purpose while balancing strategic priorities with disciplined day-to-day execution.\nChallenge the Process – Brings curiosity and a drive for continuous improvement, questioning assumptions and championing innovation even in complex environments.\nEnable Others to Act – Builds strong, inclusive partnerships that share ownership, develop others, and value diverse perspectives.\nEncourage the Heart – Recognizes contributions genuinely and celebrates shared values to build a culture of appreciation, respect, and accountability.\n\nWhy Chromalloy?\nAt Chromalloy, leadership is about more than achieving production targets.
