You’ll work directly with customers to understand their asks and drill down to the root causes for the problems they’re facing. You will also work closely with our design, engineering, and marketing teams to craft product enhancements in support of the metrics backing our objectives. You’ll own these features end-to-end from discovery to delivery and work with engineering teams across the platform to do it.\nOver the past year, highlights from our team's work include:\nLaunched an accessibility regression testing product to help customers continuously improve the accessibility of their front-ends.\n\nImproved efficiency of agentic workflows with the Storybook MCP hosted by Chromatic as well as other enhancements across the platform.\n\nBuilt visual regression testing support for React Native Storybook.\n\nWe're at a significant moment in our company's history. If you're energized by building developer tooling and being an active user of the product you work on, this is the perfect job for you.\nThis is a fully remote position on a cross-functional team for individuals based in the mainland US or Canada.\nResponsibilities\nOwn the vision for end-to-end business objectives that span multiple engineering teams.\n\nSynthesize your ideas, our business goals, customer feedback, product analytics and insights gleaned from the marketing/sales teams into feature specifications.\n\nWork closely with the engineering and marketing teams to ensure we ship world class software that matters to our existing and future customers.\n\nManage analytics instrumentation across our products and use it to make data driven product decisions.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n4+ years product management experience with SaaS companies.\n\nClear written and verbal communicator who provides straightforward, self-contained updates with necessary context in our distributed, asynchronous environment.\n\nTechnical background strong enough to understand how our tools are used by developers.\n\nStrong opinions, weakly held -someone who pushes back on ideas to drive better outcomes, handles critique without defensiveness, and demonstrates a growth mindset.\n\nEvidence-driven mindset -uses customer feedback and our analytics instrumentation to make informed product decisions.\n\nAccountability -experience leading the end-to-end process for a feature from conception to release.\n\nWe’d be extra excited if you…\nWere previously a front-end software engineer.\n\nHave experience working in the developer tooling space.\n\nHave a keen interest in UI, design and the front-end ecosystem.\n\nHave worked effectively in a distributed, remote-first team environment.\n\nWe understand that even the best candidates might not meet all the above qualifications on day one.
