This role supports kitchen operations, maintains food safety standards, and helps deliver a high-quality dining experience aligned with the hotel’s luxury hospitality standards.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nLead daily food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality.\nCoordinate kitchen workflow and support the execution of daily menus and service.\nMaintain food quality, portion control, presentation, and freshness standards.\nMonitor inventory, track ingredient usage, and communicate replenishment needs.\nEnsure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage procedures.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.\nSupport and guide kitchen team members while promoting teamwork and accountability.\nMaintain open communication with the Hotel Manager regarding issues, priorities, and opportunities for improvement.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nPrevious professional kitchen experience, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or upscale dining environment.\nPrior experience leading or coordinating kitchen operations preferred.\nStrong cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.\nKnowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.\n·Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail.\nFood handler certification as required by local regulations.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY\nYes\nREPORTS TO\nThis position is a direct report to the department supervisor or on-site Hotel Manager.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWork is performed in a professional hotel kitchen, with exposure to heat, steam, noise, and fast-paced service periods. The role requires close collaboration with kitchen and hotel staff, including flexible scheduling for weekends and holidays as needed.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThis position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending and reaching, and the ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and food items.
