This role serves as a hands-on resource for the housekeeping team, helping maintain efficiency, consistency, and an exceptional guest experience.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nSupport daily housekeeping assignments and help coordinate room attendant workloads.\nClean and service guest rooms and common areas as needed.\nInspect completed rooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards are met.\nProvide guidance and on-the-job support to housekeeping team members.\nCommunicate room status and readiness updates to the front desk.\nMonitor housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment and report replenishment needs.\nReport maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost property to the appropriate team.\nPromote compliance with cleaning procedures, guest privacy requirements, and safety standards.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nPrevious housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.\nPrior experience training or supporting team members preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.\nGood communication, organization, and time-management skills.\nAbility to lead by example while performing hands-on housekeeping duties.\nKnowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation, and safe chemical handling.\nAbility to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY\nYes\nREPORTS TO\nThis position is a direct report to the department supervisor or on-site Hotel Manager.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWork takes place throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and housekeeping storage areas. The role requires frequent interaction with staff and coordination with other departments to maintain the hotel’s service and presentation standards.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThis position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and pushing housekeeping carts.
