This role leads and supports the housekeeping team, conducts inspections, and helps deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nSupervise daily housekeeping operations and assign duties to housekeeping staff.\nInspect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.\nTrain, support, and motivate team members to maintain quality and efficiency.\nCoordinate room readiness and housekeeping schedules with front desk staff.\nMonitor inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping equipment.\nAddress housekeeping requests and resolve cleanliness concerns promptly.\nEnsure proper use of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures.\nReport maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.\nMaintain open communication with the Hotel Manager regarding issues, priorities, and opportunities for improvement.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nPrevious housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.\nPrior supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.\nExcellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.\nKnowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safe chemical handling.\nFlexible availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY\nYes\nREPORTS TO\nThis position is a direct report to the department supervisor or on-site Hotel Manager.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWork takes place throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and housekeeping storage areas. The role requires frequent interaction with staff and coordination with other departments to maintain the hotel’s service and presentation standards.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThis position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and pushing housekeeping carts.
