At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture.\nSummary\nCHS in Willmar, MN is looking for a Hazmat Truck Driver to join our team. This individual is responsible for hauling crop protection to our customers in a timely manner. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday with a morning start time. We are looking for a driver who is comfortable being OTR in the truck for 3-4 nights each week and travelling to various locations across the US. The driver will be home for the weekends. The ideal candidate would possess a Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements. We are open to helping the right candidate obtain the necessary endorsements.\nJoin our team today!\nResponsibilities\nSafely transport and deliver hazardous materials to customer locations using a semi-tractor and trailer and or bobtail truck in a safe, compliant manner, and timely manner\nLoad and unload products by connecting/disconnecting loading arms and hoses; follow all hazardous material handling and transfer safety procedures\nDeliver professional, customer-focused service during pickups and deliveries, and coordinate with internal teams as needed\nPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report equipment issues, maintenance needs, incidents, or near misses promptly. Perform interior maintenance and upkeep as needed\nPrepare delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports; record accurate electronic logs\nComply with DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving, including route and hazard awareness. Immediately notify leadership of incidents, near misses, spills/releases, or safety concerns\nPerform additioanl duties as assigned\nMinimum Qualifications (required)\nValid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)\nValid Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required\n2+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience \nMust meet age requirement \nAbility to read, write, and communicate in English\nDemonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately.\nAdditional Qualifications\nDemonstrated experience hauling hazardous materials\nDemonstrated safety performance and consistent adherence to procedures in hazardous materials operations.\nDemonstrated customer service and communication skills; interact professionally with internal teams and customers.\nDemonstrated experience completing tanker product transfers (loading/unloading) and related documentation in a regulated environment.\nPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
