At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture.\nSummary\nCHS Dakota Plains Ag is hiring for an Applicator/Truck Driver in Englevale, ND This role is a hybrid position where you will be a driver and an applicator depending on the season and business needs. This is a M-F home daily position with overtime and weekends as needed during the growing season. No CDL? No problem. We can help you obtain. Join our team in Englevale today!\nResponsibilities\nAs directed, apply fertilizer and crop protection products. May require use of a high clearance sprayer or floater. \nPick up and deliver product to customers as needed. \nWork with customers in a courteous and professional manner. \nEducate customers on products being applied to fields, techniques utilized, and how you can continue to support them with products and services. \nAssist the sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patron needs are met. \nPerform warehouse work including driving loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance. \nLift and load products, 1-2 hours per day. \nEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement, and hours of service. \nMaintain cleanliness of vehicle(s) inside and out, and work environment. \nComplete and document daily maintenance inspections. Ensure proper equipment maintenance is completed including repairs and preventive maintenance. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nTraining Provided: \nCrop protection product mixing \nOperation of application equipment\nMinimum Qualifications (required)\nKnowledge of Agriculture Production, Operations, and/or Agriculture Application \nMust meet minimum age requirement \nAbility to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signal\nAdditional Qualifications\nMaintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card \nAbility to work additional hours, be available for overnight stays and occasional weekends to meet business demands \nHigh School diploma or GED preferred \nHazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred \nAgriculture background and customer experience preferred \nBulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred \nPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings which may include a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse. \nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift 75 lbs \nAbility to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins, and into back of trailer \nAbility to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures\nCompensation Data\nSalary range: $19.42- $31.01/hr\nHiring range: $21-$22/hr DOE and CDL\nCHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions.
