You will:\nLoad and unload grain, agronomy, and feed products\nWork with your hands by performing scheduled maintenance and repairs\nLearn how to monitor and maintain grain quality, mix and load fertilizer and chemical products, and assist in loading trains\nWork toward obtaining your CDL upon hire, with training and support provided by CHS\nTake this opportunity to work with one of the largest co-ops in the U.S. while making an impact in your local community. Apply today!\nResponsibilities\nAs directed, carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently. \nPrepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading including sampling, loosening large nuts, opening hatches, and attaching or detaching hoses. \nLoad and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment. \nConduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks. \nMonitor and maintain quality of inventory. \nDeliver products to customer sites safely and accurately. \nEnsure compliance with all laws including pre- and post-trip reporting and hours of service. \nMaintain clean and safe work areas and vehicles. \nPerform grounds maintenance including snow removal. \nPerform warehouse duties including forklift operation. \nReport customer complaints and safety concerns promptly. \nMaintain and promote a strong safety culture. \nFollow all company policies and procedures. \nPerform other duties as assigned\nMinimum Qualifications (required)\nKnowledge of Operations and/or Trucking Operations \nAbility to read, write and communicate in English \nMust meet minimum age requirement \nAdditional Qualifications\nHigh School diploma or GED preferred \nMaintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card \nAbility to work additional hours and occasional weekends \nHazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred \nValid Class A CDL preferred \nAgriculture background preferred \nCustomer service experience preferred \nBulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred \nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift 75 lbs \nAbility to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins, and into back of trailer \nAbility to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures\nCHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions.
