Reporting to the Operations Director of Learning and Development, this role goes beyond traditional training coordination. It is an opportunity to contribute across programs, projects, processes, technology and day-to-day L&D operations.\nWe are looking for a curious, adaptable and hands-on individual who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, learning new things and jumping in where needed. The right person will be a self-directed learner who enjoys figuring things out, experimenting with new approaches and continually asking, “How can we do this better?”\nTechnology and innovation will be an important part of that mindset. From AI and automation to Power BI, bots and our enterprise LMS, this role will help explore how emerging capabilities can simplify work, improve processes and data insights, and enable L&D to better support employee development across CHS.\nThis is a hybrid role that has the flexibility to work 3 days per week at our Inver Grove Heights headquarters and 2 days per week at home.\nResponsibilities\nWhat You will Do\nCoordinate Learning Programs and Events: Manage end-to-end logistics for in-person and virtual learning programs, including scheduling, room reservations, catering, materials, shipments, participant rosters, and on-site support or virtual production in Microsoft Teams.\nManage Program Administration and Records: Maintain accurate training schedules, rosters, program information, calendars, and related records using learning systems and business tools.\nSupport L&D Operations and Team Effectiveness: Manage shared L&D calendars and inquiries, prepare reports and presentations, coordinate team meetings and events, troubleshoot issues, and connect stakeholders with the appropriate resources to ensure timely follow-up.\nCoordinate Vendors and Learning Resources: Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to order, maintain, and coordinate training toolkits, materials, supplies, and other resources needed to support learning delivery.\nManage Projects and Priorities: Take ownership of projects and operational assignments, coordinating activities, timelines, stakeholders, and details to support successful execution of L&D programs and initiatives.\nWhat You will Bring\nBring a Hands-On, Adaptable Mindset: Work comfortably across a wide variety of responsibilities, jump in where needed, and take ownership of both planned initiatives and emerging L&D needs.\nEmbrace Continuous Learning: Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in independently learning new tools, technologies, processes, and capabilities to expand personal skills and better support the L&D function.\nDrive Continuous Improvement: Look for opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, solve problems, and challenge existing ways of working to create better experiences for employees and the L&D team.\nExplore Technology and Automation: Identify opportunities to leverage technologies such as AI, Power BI, automation, bots, Microsoft tools, and the enterprise LMS to streamline work, improve insights, and strengthen L&D operations.\nTurn Ideas into Solutions: Experiment with new approaches, help translate ideas into practical solutions, and collaborate with others to test and implement improvements.\nSupport an Evolving L&D Function: Remain flexible as priorities, technology, and business needs evolve, contributing across programs, projects, systems, data, and operational initiatives that enable learning and development across CHS.\nMinimum Qualifications (required)\nHigh School diploma or GED\n3+ years’ experience in Learning & Development, Executive Assistance, or Human Resources\nAdvanced skills in MS suite: Microsoft Planner, PowerPoint and Excel\nExperience with Service Now or similar ticketing systems\nStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritize\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple events, projects and learning initiatives\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills\nFlexible, adaptable, and a self-starter\nAdditional Qualifications\nFamiliarity with learning management system\nPower BI for data analysis and reporting\nPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions.
