In this role, you'll be a key contributor to the success of our store by applying your excellent communication and management skills in a fast-paced environment. This role will assist the Store Supervisor with the responsibility of all aspects of the store operations.\nCHS Offers:\n$1,000.00 retention bonus\nWork schedule flexibility\nFast career opportunities and internal growth\nWork with fun, motivated people\nThis is a full-time role with overtime pay, working 48 hours in a five-day week with work schedule flexibility.\nIf you're ready to kick start your career, apply today!\nResponsibilities\nManage the overall operation of the store to include hiring, training, coaching, conducting performance reviews and taking appropriate corrective and disciplinary action with employees as needed.\nEnsure all customers receive excellent service including quick, tactful handling of complaints.\nEnsure that sales are generated at the highest practical level. Direct store marketing activities and promotion programs to increase sales and market share.\nReconcile purchase orders with delivery invoices in order to maintain the flow of inventory.\nEnsure monthly and annual performance objectives, as set by the business unit management are met for the store and the employees.\nInteract with vendors and maintain proper inventory levels to fulfill customer needs and wants within company guidelines.\nEnsure buildings, equipment and grounds are clean and inviting as well as properly stocking and rotating merchandise.\nOversee and ensure all corporate policy, local, state, and federal government regulations are adhered to and required compliance documentation is complete.\nMonitor cashier, vendor and customer activity to discern theft or dishonesty.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nCultivate and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.\nOther duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications (required)\n High School diploma or GED\n 4+ years of experience in Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service\nPrior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities\nAdditional Qualifications\nExcellent Customer Service skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nProficient in MS Office suite\nPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
