Employees are 100% vested after 4 years of credited service.\nReferral Bonuses: Earn up to $1,000 for referring new employees.\nWhat You Will Do:\nStudent Engagement: Assist in conducting classroom activities, preparing instructional materials, providing instruction, review, and practice of skills taught by the Classroom Teacher with individual and small groups of students. Assist in implementing treatment plan and individual education plan methods specific to each child. Assume Classroom Teacher’s duties in his/her absence.\nStudent Records: Assist with maintaining classroom and/or student records and documentation and contributes data for progress notes and individual treatment plans.\nStudent Relationships: Nurture children through one-on-one communication and care and maintain vigilant supervision. Reinforce instructional/behavioral objectives as needed to maintain an effective classroom learning environment.\nProfessional Growth: Provide leadership in efforts to improve the school, student learning and behavior, social skills, and safety.\nCompliance: Maintain the confidentiality of students and their families. Follow Agency and School Policies and Procedures. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to physically restrain a child in ways taught by the Agency while being able to verbally communicate to the child and other staff.
