reporting applications.\nPartner with business teams to analyze requirements and identify data sources needed for analytics and reporting applications.\nConduct full data lifecycle analysis to develop new insights for analytics and reporting dashboards.\nProvide recommendations to address data quality issues with source systems.\nCommunicate approaches and findings with cross-functional teams.\nBuild analytical tools to provide actionable insights into key business KPIs.\nWork with data engineers to optimize pipelines for scalability and data delivery when needed.\n Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science or a related field preferred.\n3-5 years of experience in actuarial analytics or a related analytical background.\nAuto insurance experience preferred.\nIntermediate English communication skills.\nMajor in Actuarial Science preferred.\nActuarial exam qualification is not required.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to research, assess, and develop observations and findings.\nExperience with SQL, databases, and/or data science.\nSome programming skills in Java, Python, and SQL are preferred.\nExperience with data and analytics frameworks supporting data lakes, warehouses, marts, reporting, and similar environments.\nExperience with data tools for visualization, analytics, and reporting.\nAbility to communicate findings and approaches clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.\nUnderstanding of data security policies and procedures.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience working with underwriting, pricing, claims, or actuarial teams.\nFamiliarity with claims performance and KPI analysis, including loss ratio.\nExperience supporting business stakeholders in an insurance
