Working with multiple squads, technical teams and business stakeholders, you will help translate business needs into clear requirements and practical solution designs that support both delivery and long-term business improvement.\nThis role is focused not only on automating existing processes, it is expected that you will take the opportunity to rethink, transform, and improve them to create better workflows and better outcomes for our Underwriters and Operational staff overall. You will work across the full BA lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to data mapping, solution design, stakeholder engagement, and change support.\nWhile this role is predominantly business-facing, a level of technical or software delivery knowledge will be highly valued. You will work closely with delivery teams and technical specialists, both locally and abroad, therefore being able to engage with technical concepts, understand system impacts, interpret documentation, and importantly overlay into a business context will support better outcomes.\n Key Responsibilities:\nLead, document and validate discovery activities to understand business problems, pain points, opportunities, and desired outcomes.\nElicit, analyse, and document business requirements across a range of stakeholders and teams.\nDefine functional and non-functional requirements for each capability.\nMap current-state and future-state processes, identifying and advocating for opportunities to improve workflows and increase efficiency.\nTranslate business needs into clear solution designs, requirements artefacts, process flows, and data mappings.\nWork closely with delivery squads and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and system constraints.\nFacilitate workshops and discussions with business stakeholders to build shared understanding and drive outcomes.\nSupport implementation, change impact assessment, and stakeholder communication to enable successful adoption.\nWhat we're looking for:\nProven experience as a Business Analyst in transformation, change, or delivery environments.\nStrong experience in discovery, requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design.\nAbility to challenge current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement and transformation.\nExperience documenting business requirements, process maps, data mappings, and solution artefacts.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across business and delivery teams.\nExperience working across multiple squads, teams, or workstreams in a fast-paced environment.\nComfort working with technical concepts and collaborating effectively with technical teams.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity.\nDesirable:\nInsurance or financial services industry experience.\nExperience in business transformation, process redesign, or operating model change.\nExperience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.\nExperience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.\nExposure to Jira, Confluence, or similar delivery and documentation tools.\nAbility to interpret technical documentation, data flows, or integration
