He/she will work closely with the Director of business Intelligence and functional leadership to deliver on the design, development, programming, meta data, maintenance, and publication of reports that play a key role in driving business decisions.\nResponsibilities\nCreate data visualizations and transform data into innovative dashboard designs\nMaintain large sets of data that require validation, cleansing, and troubleshooting\nCreate and maintain online automated reports using Power BI; update and maintain Excel, SQL sources as well as semantic models & metadata to ensure data quality\nDebug technical issues when they arise\nRespond to ad hoc requests for analysis and reports from internal stakeholders including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Underwriting, Legal, Actuarial, Training, and IT\nDevelop skills and leverage Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI & Snowflake to drive functional efficiencies and deliver high-quality information solutions\nAnalyze and integrate data from multiple sources\nLeverage a foundational understanding of AI tools to support personal productivity\nSkills and Experience\nThree to five years experience. Knowledge of insurance/claim industry plus\nExcellent technical skills including advanced knowledge of Excel\nExcellent knowledge of SQL programming language\nBusiness Intelligence and/or dashboard experience; DAX programming knowledge and Power BI a plus!\nCreative design experience a plus!\nExperience working with large databases in Snowflake or Azure a plus\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills\nStrong attention to detail\nAbility to self-start and work independently to complete assignments in a timely manner\nNovice to intermediate ability to leverage AI tools (Claude code) to tune reports/code\nEducation\nBA required, preferably in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Finance\nLocation: Chicago, IL (near Rosemont, IL Triangle Plaza) and or other potential locations: Columbia, SC, Chattanooga, TN, Portland, ME\nIn-Office Expectation: 4 days in office, 1 day remote.\nThe pay range for the role is $61,000 to $89,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
