The successful candidate will work across application development, system support, troubleshooting, integration, and continuous improvement activities.\nThe ideal candidate has at least five years of software engineering experience, strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, and familiarity with Azure Cloud, Salesforce, SQL Server, and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience using AI-assisted development tools and practices is highly desirable.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide daily production support for insurance application systems.\nMonitor application performance, investigate incidents, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate problem resolution.\nAnalyze system issues and determine whether they are related to application defects, infrastructure, data, or integrations.\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full stack applications and services.\nDevelop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.\nSupport frontend development and integration with backend services and external platforms.\nDevelop and maintain integrations with Salesforce, Azure services, and other enterprise systems.\nWrite, optimize, and maintain SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database objects.\nParticipate in requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, release management, and post-production support.\nFollow established SDLC, IT service management, security, and change management processes.\nCollaborate with business users, vendors, infrastructure teams, application teams, and global engineering teams.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and system knowledge articles.\nIdentify opportunities to improve system stability, automation, operational efficiency, and user experience.\nUse AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and troubleshooting, while following applicable security and compliance requirements.\n Required Qualifications and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nAt least five years of experience in software development, application support, or full stack engineering.\nStrong hands-on experience with:Java\nSpring Boot\nRESTful APIs and web services\nSQL Server and relational databases\nAzure Cloud services\nExperience with Salesforce development, configuration, or system integration.\n\nGood understanding of software development methodologies and the SDLC.\nExperience supporting business-critical applications in a production environment.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment practices.\nGood understanding of application security, access control, logging, monitoring, and incident management.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted software development tools, such as coding assistants, AI-powered testing tools, or AI development platforms.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.\nKnowledge of insurance business processes and enterprise application architecture.\nExperience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, containers, or infrastructure automation.\nExperience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or similar frameworks.\nExperience with Salesforce APIs\nRelevant cloud or professional certifications, such as Microsoft Azure or Salesforce certifications.\nKey Competencies\n\nCustomer-focused and
