The Senior Resourcing Business Partner, will apply their sourcing and recruitment expertise to identify, attract, assess and hire exceptional talent for Chubb Life within the Hong Kong market, as well as some additional roles across Asia Pacific in a cost-effective way. You will provide guidance and knowledge and will work with key senior stakeholders across Chubb to continuously improve our recruitment practices.

This role is based in Hong Kong and reports to the Talent Acquisition Lead, HK & Taiwan

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategies

  • Formulate and execute tailored recruitment strategies for each role as they become available, incorporating proactive talent mapping, pipelining, and sourcing techniques to adopt a forward-thinking approach to recruitment that extends beyond immediate demands.
  • Oversee the complete recruitment process, which includes sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and conducting reference checks, with provide professional advice to key stakeholders.
  • Utilize corporate social media and other appropriate tools or platforms for direct candidate sourcing.
  • Evaluate, screen, and assess candidates’ competencies in line with job specifications, collaborating closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to facilitate offers and onboarding.
  • Develop a robust understanding of key talent within the market, enhance market intelligence, and acquire comprehensive insights into Chubb's competitors.
  • Utilize analytics and insights to measure the effectiveness of branding and recruitment strategies, adjusting as necessary to meet hiring goals.

Excellence of Delivery

  • Manage a comprehensive portfolio encompassing recruitment operations (end-to-end, full lifecycle), projects, and reporting.
  • Address and escalate potential issues, ensuring follow-up on necessary solutions.
  • Exhibit resourcefulness and a proactive problem-solving approach. Eliminate obstacles and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Assess existing processes and the vendor panel to ensure alignment with best practices, establishing clear action plans to reach these standards.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partner to offer ongoing hiring advice to business managers to drive process improvement.

Employer Branding

  • Drive engagement at university events and build partnership with academic institutions to attract top talent.
  • Actively collaborate with local universities and professional associations to organize and participate in regular campus events.
  • Leverage social media and other platforms to showcase our company culture, employee experiences ad available career opportunities, enhancing our external brand presence.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Engage in strategic partnerships with the business and regional TA team to meet the goals and KPIs established within.
  • Cultivate a collaborative work relationship with key HR business partners, internal stakeholders, regional office, and industry experts.
  • With over 10 years of end-to-end corporate recruitment experience, ideally with prior Insurance exposure in-house or within a recruitment agency.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with significant experience in engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to navigate a complex matrix structure in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality work while enjoying the process.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English is essential.
