The focus is on applying a combination of industry standard practices and innovative ideas using structured data from multiple sources and applying AI, machine learning and statistical techniques to build, evaluate and implement models. Our team focus is on creating analytical solutions that solve real world business problems. Analytics empowered technology platforms are changing the way we operationalize models at Chubb. This role will work closely with engineering teams to deploy models into various cutting-edge platforms. This is a great opportunity to create analytics solutions for multiple lines of business, products, and geographies, deepening your insurance product knowledge.\nResponsibilities\nPartner with Product Owners, Data Scientists, Engineers, and Project Managers on modeling projects and the development of new use cases for various Global Analytics Technology Platforms. \nExecute all aspects of analytics initiatives including exploratory data analysis, machine learning model development, model evaluation and benefit estimation.\nBuild frameworks that can be leveraged for multiple projects. High focus on code reproducibility and creating generalizable technology assets for analytics teams which can be further automated using AI agents and Claude Skills. \nCreate excellent working relationships with business partners across the Chubb organization, IT and analytics peer groups.\nEffectively communicate results in written, oral and presentation formats.\nMonitor performance of models and report findings to business partners. \nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, Physics, or a related field. \n3+ years of experience in an analytics driven role (i.e., Data Scientist, ML Engineer, Data Analyst, etc.)\nBusiness experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred but not a must.\nProgramming experience in Python with an understanding of object-oriented programming. \nExperience using SQL for data extraction and manipulation.\nExperience with development and implementation of machine learning and statistical models. \nStrong communication skills - Being able to translate advanced technical topics to non-technical stakeholders but also of sustaining highly technical conversations with other engineers and developers.\nExperience with tools from the following tech stack: GitHub, Python, Databricks, VSCode, MLFlow.\nExperience using AI tools such as Claude Code as an enabler and productivity enhancer.\nWe offer in return!\nCompetitive salary & pension scheme, discretionary bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave plus ability to purchase 5 additional days, hybrid working options, Private Medical cover, Employee Share Purchase Plan, Life Assurance, Subsidised gym membership, Comprehensive Learning & development offerings, Employee Assistance program.\nIntegrity. client focus. respect. excellence. teamwork\nOur core values dictate how we live and work.
