Conceptualize interfaces, visualize digital experiences or applications, and understand how each touchpoint is connected to the full user experience.\n\nWork with multidisciplinary teams to analyze quantitative and qualitative user research and synthesize user and customer data from many sources to identify opportunities; recommend user-centric design directions with an eye towards human value feasibility and economy.\n\nConduct user testing and qualitative sessions to improve engagement, usability, and affinity.\n\nApply, promote, and iterate design guidelines, best practices, and standards (i.e., Chubb Design System).\n\nFollow the existing responsive logic and produce adaptive design screens as well as provide UI implementation support across different platforms and sites.\n\nIllustrate design ideas using collaboration design tool such as Figma.\n\nConnect design strategy to business results.\n\nWhat you bring (qualifications)\nFoundational skills:\nWilling and able to break the mold, challenging the status quo for the good of the customer and user experience design.\n\nAble to effectively interact with key roles within a multidisciplinary team.\n\nStrong communication and time management skills, with a sense of ownership and urgency.\n\nAbility to facilitate design feedback/review sessions with designers, business leads, developers, and other roles and to explain design approaches or technical details.\n\nExperience with an iterative design process, and a recognition that the first design is rarely the final design (i.e., MVP mindset).\n\nExperience with design thinking and human centered design frameworks.\n\nAbility and willingness to learn Agile ways of working.\n\nDesign skills:\nExperience in the full spectrum of UX and UI design activities, which includes UX research, wireframing, high-fidelity UI design, user testing.\n\nProficient in collaborative design tools such as Figma, Mural, etc.\n\nA good understanding of the design implementation as opposed to just delivering a proof of concept (POC) design.\n\nExperience with responsive design and UI handoff.\n\nExperience with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.\n\nEducation:\nBackground in designing mobile and web applications OR Master’s/Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree in graphic design, computer science, design, fine arts, or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated UI/UX experience.\nChubb’s Digital Transformation\nChubb is a global leader in the insurance industry and provides an extensive suite of products to a wide range of clients.
