We’re looking for an experienced Security Service Engineer to join our team, working across a localised patch covering York, Harrogate and the surrounding areas.

What you’ll be doing
As a Security Service Engineer, you’ll manage your own schedule and visit customer sites throughout your local area. Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, maintaining and inspecting intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
- Carrying out planned maintenance and diagnosing faults
- Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Responding to service calls and resolving technical issues promptly
- Providing customers with clear, helpful technical advice
- Building positive customer relationships and delivering excellent service
- Maintaining accurate records of completed work
- Taking part in a structured call-out rota, providing out-of-hours support on a rotational basis
What you’ll bring
You’ll be an experienced Security Engineer with:
- Hands-on experience servicing and maintaining intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- The confidence to work independently and organise your own workload
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- Good communication skills
- A commitment to completing work safely, efficiently and to a high standard
