Together with your help and desire, we can grow together and make the world a safer place.\nSALARY: Up to £35,500.00 DoE\n25 days holiday, plus bank holidays\nEmployee Referral Scheme (£1000)\nCompany Pension Scheme (5% matched)\nLife Assurance (4 x Basic Salary)\nEmployee Scholarship Scheme\nA Central Benefits Platform offering a wide variety discounts\nSame day Online GP\nHealth & Wellbeing Resources\nWorking hours: 8am - 430pm Monday - Friday - office based\nWhat You’ll be Doing as a Operations Cost Control Support\nCollect and validate cost data including engineer timesheets, materials, subcontractor invoices, equipment hire, and travel expenses.\nAssist with updating job budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete values.\nEnsuring all invoices are produced correctly, in time and to the customer requirements to ensure swift payment\nIdentify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation of operational efficiencies.\nAssist with tracking profitability of service contracts, warranty work, maintenance agreements, and installation projects.\nWork closely with Service Managers, Program Mangers, Project Managers, Procurement, and Commercial teams to provide financial guidance.\nEnsure teams follow cost-control procedures (job costing, material booking, procurement compliance)\nPrepare weekly and monthly cost reports for review with the Cost Control Lead.\nSupport financial tracking of installation projects and service engagements from initiation to completion.\nWhat We Would Like You To Bring:\nProven experience in operations support, cost administration, finance support, or data analysis.\nExperience within installation, engineering, service delivery, construction, or electronic security environments is beneficial.\nFamiliarity with ERP/job-costing or field service management platforms, portals etc\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.\nProficient in Excel/Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning).\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cost inputs and deadlines.\nAnalytical mindset with ability to spot errors or trends in data.\nClear communicator who can work effectively with operations, finance, and field teams.\nComfortable learning technical systems and understanding installation/service workflows.\nIntermediate level MS Excel skills and computer literate with experience of MS Word and MS PowerPoint.\nIf this sounds like you, apply today and send us your application!\nChubb Fire and Security is an equal opportunities employer.
