Working closely with Project and Programme Managers, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality and compliance standards\nTake technical ownership of assigned security projects from mobilisation through commissioning, testing, and handover.\nReview and interpret project designs, specifications, and scopes of work, resolving technical queries with designers and clients.\nPlan, coordinate, and supervise the installation and commissioning activities of engineers and subcontractors on site.\nEnsure works are delivered in line with company installation standards, manufacturer requirements, and relevant industry standards.\nCommission and configure CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, and Integrated Security Systems, and lead fault diagnosis and resolution.\nSupport Project and Programme Managers with programme, resource, and materials planning to keep projects on time and within budget.\nProduce and maintain accurate technical documentation, including installation records, test sheets, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.\nAct as a technical point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams, communicating progress and issues clearly.\nChampion Health & Safety by preparing/reviewing RAMS, enforcing site rules, and promoting safe working practices at all times.\nCarry out quality inspections and snagging, ensuring works meet the required standard before handover.\nMentor and provide technical guidance to Security Engineers and Trainee Engineers.\nManage tools, test equipment, and company property, ensuring they are maintained and calibrated where required.\nTravel to customer sites as required to support delivery and resolve technical issues.\nContinuously develop technical knowledge and contribute to improving installation processes and best practice.\nWhat We Would Like You To Bring\nEssential:\nProven experience in the installation and commissioning of electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, or Integrated Security).\nStrong working knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and relevant industry standards.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.\nExperience coordinating engineers and/or subcontractors on site.\nStrong fault-finding, problem-solving, and commissioning skills.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and colleagues.\nFull UK Driving Licence.\nAbility to work at customer sites and travel as required.\nSC Clearance or agreement to be screened to this level.\nDesirable:\nRelevant qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Engineering, or Technical Studies.\nManufacturer/product accreditations (e.g. Genetec, Lenel, Gallagher, Milestone, or similar).\nECS Card or willingness to obtain one.\nExperience delivering projects within a regulated or high-security environment.\nKnowledge of relevant standards and codes of practice (e.g. BS EN, NSI/SSAIB).\nIf this sounds like you, apply today and send us your application!\nChubb Fire and Security is an equal opportunities employer.
