He will be the go-to person for technical solutioning, advisory and troubleshooting.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide pre-sales engineering and solution design support for IT, IoT, security field devices, and network infrastructure projects:Perform technical assessments and gap analyses to validate customer requirements, existing infrastructure, system constraints, and integration requirements.\nEnsure all solutions comply with customer specifications, relevant codes of practice, cybersecurity requirements, manufacturer recommendations, and company quality standards \n\nDevelop technical architecture, network designs, and integration strategies for security and smart building applications.\nAssist in factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), user acceptance tests (UAT), and system demonstrations before and during project handover \nDevelop commissioning checklists, test scripts, method statements, risk assessments, and contingency or rollback plans for major implementation works \nPerform testing, commissioning, and field deployment support for network, IoT, and security systems.\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve faults related to network connectivity, security platforms, and field devices.\nSupport system integration, configuration, and optimization to ensure reliable operation and performance.\nWork closely with project, operations, and customer teams to deliver technical solutions from design through commissioning and handover.\nPrepare technical documentation, test plans, commissioning reports, and as-built network diagrams.\nProvide hands-on technical support for troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of deployed systems.\nLead technical investigations of complex network and security system issues, providing root cause analysis and corrective actions.\nAct as the technical subject matter expert for IP networking, cybersecurity, IoT devices, and integrated security solutions.\nQualifications and Experience\nDiploma or Degree in Computer/ Network/ Systems Engineering, telecommunications or a related discipline.\nAt least 10 years of relevant experience in network segmentation, VLANs, PoE, IP addressing, firewalls, certificates, secure remote access, and cybersecurity hardening.\nHold relevant industry-recognized networking certifications demonstrating competence in IP networking, network configuration and cybersecurity.\nDemonstrated experience in system testing, integrated commissioning, defect resolution and customer handover.\nExperience in electronic security design, integration or commissioning experience an advantage.\nExperience in implementing smart building systems/ applications, access control, CCTV systems and/or IP-networked solutions an advantage.\nAdditional Information\n About Us, Our Culture & What We Can Offer You\nEstablished over 200 years ago, Chubb Fire & Security are a global business driven by keeping people and the world safe.
