As part of the global API Group, we join a family of organisations where leadership, and leadership development is our most powerful strategic advantage and the best way to invest in our people. \nJoin the team that protects our world.\nLOCATION: East Kilbride, Scotland\nSALARY: up to £44,000.00 DoE, plus a bonus scheme and on call\n25 days holiday plus English bank holidays\nBonus\nOn call\nTravel Time*\nUnmarked company car\nFree online GP for you and your family\nLife Assurance - 4 x base salary\nPension - we match up to 5%\nA Central Benefits Platform offering a wide variety discounts\nHealth & Wellbeing Resources \nBravo Awards: Recognising outstanding contributions from all employees and encourage excellence\nWhat You’ll be Doing as a Site Resident Engineer;\nDeliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault-finding across electronic security systems.\nMaintain, test, diagnose and repair systems including, as applicable: Access control; CCTV and video management systems; Intruder detection systems; Perimeter intrusion detection systems; Intercoms; door entry and associated security infrastructure; Integrated security management and network-connected security systems\nRespond to system faults, alarms and service requests within contractual response and resolution times.\nComplete all service visits, maintenance records, test results, defect reports and work orders accurately and promptly using approved Chubb and customer systems.\nIdentify system impairments, recurring faults, obsolete equipment and opportunities to improve system reliability; provide clear recommendations to the Contract Manager and customer representatives.\nCarry out minor works, replacements, upgrades and configuration changes where authorised and within competence.\nProtect sensitive customer, system and site information. Follow all applicable access-control, information-security, confidentiality and incident-reporting procedures.\nWhat We Would Like You to Bring\nEssential\nProven experience servicing, maintaining and fault-finding electronic security systems in a commercial, industrial or high-security environment.\nStrong technical knowledge of access control, CCTV, intruder alarm and integrated security systems.\nAbility to interpret system drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, cause-and-effect documentation and maintenance records.\nDesirable\nExperience working on a CNI, government, defence, utilities, transport, data-centre, pharmaceutical or similarly regulated site.\nKnowledge of major security platforms relevant to the contract, such as Gallagher, Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Honeywell, Bosch or Hikvision, as applicable.\nExperience with integrated security management systems, perimeter detection or PSIM platforms.\nRelevant industry qualifications, such as ECS/CSCS, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, manufacturer certifications or equivalent technical training.\nKnowledge of BS EN and relevant British Standards for electronic security systems.\nIf this sounds like you, apply today and send us your application!\nChubb Fire and Security is an equal opportunities employer.
