This role combines technical oversight with proactive safety management to deliver efficient, high-quality, and safe project execution.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTechnical & Supervisory Duties:\nOversee installation and repair of piping systems (gas, steam, water, fire protection).\nPlan, coordinate, and schedule all aspects of piping projects.\nInterpret blueprints and technical documents to determine materials and equipment.\nSupervise installation and repair of underground conduits and piping systems.\nTroubleshoot issues during installation or repair.\nEnsure proper use of pipes, fittings, and related equipment.\nMaintain project timelines and quality standards.\nProvide guidance and direction to pipe fitters and other workers.\nWork independently and make quick, accurate decisions.\nSafety Management Duties:\nDevelop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.\nConduct risk assessments and hazard analysis for piping projects.\nEnsure compliance with local, national, and industry safety regulations.\nOrganize safety training sessions and toolbox talks for workers.\nInvestigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.\nMaintain safety documentation and records.\nCoordinate emergency response plans and drills.\nAct as liaison with regulatory bodies during inspections or audits.\nRequirements:\nStrong knowledge of piping systems, fittings, and relevant codes/regulations.\nFamiliarity with workplace safety standards and compliance requirements.\nAbility to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.\nAdditional Information\n About Us, Our Culture & What We Can Offer You\nEstablished over 200 years ago, Chubb Fire & Security are a global business driven by keeping people and the world safe.
