Strong technical knowledge and experience in electronic security systems industry would be preferred. Responsibilities include:\nGeneral\nProvide clear & detailed updates and progress reports for tender technical reviews, design projects and pre-qualification questionnaires.\nWork collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business at all levels on multiple projects simultaneously\nDesign Packs\nManage the production, and produce complete system designs for live and upcoming projects, including but not limited to:\nLayout drawings\nPanel/rack elevations\nDoor elevations\nSingle line schematics\nSpecifications\nDevice schedules\nDocument schedules\nTechnical submittals\nRisk & method statements (RAMS)\nProgramme of works\nProcurement schedule\nDesign Coordination\nLiaise with the project managers, sales and estimators to ensure the design meets the client’s design requirements\nWork with sales and estimating teams to produce client required design packs\nAttend sites to survey as required\nCarry out design services as required by customers and agreed with sales\nManage the design change process\nStandards & Continuous Improvement\nDevelop and standardize company design and preconstruction documentation\nSupport the development of, and set out company installation quality guides and playbooks\nMaintain awareness of latest industry regulations and standards ensuring the business remains compliant where required.\nIdentify opportunities to improve design quality, consistency and efficiency.\nWhat We Would Like You To Bring\nEssential:\nStrong technical knowledge and experience in electronic security systems industry would be preferred.\nStrong practical and problem-solving skills.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.\nFull UK Driving Licence (or working towards obtaining one).\nAbility to work at customer sites and travel as required.\nWillingness to undertake training and professional development.\nExperience using CAD software\nMicrosoft Office package\nDesirable:\nPrevious experience in a technical, engineering, construction, or security-related environment.\nRelevant qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Engineering, or Technical Studies.\nECS Card or willingness to obtain one.\nBasic understanding of electrical or electronic principles.\nSecurity screening clearance or willingness to undergo screening.\nIf this sounds like you, apply today and send us your application!\nChubb Fire and Security is an equal opportunities employer.
