process maps, use cases, data flow diagrams, and functional specifications - that serve as the team’s source of truth.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Champion retrospective outcomes and drive actionable improvements to team processes, tooling, and ways of working across each sprint cycle.\n\nMajor Duties and Responsibilities\nSystem Analyst Responsibilities\nUnderstand Chubb's commercial insurance business workflows and translate them into detailed system and functional requirements across all CRS domains - policy, quoting, claims, payments, documents, and the agent portal.\n\nConduct structured requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders using interviews, workshops, process mapping, and gap analysis techniques.\n\nProduce high-quality analysis artefacts including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, data flow diagrams, and process maps.\n\nCollaborate with the Product Owner to author well-formed user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria ready for sprint planning.\n\nAnalyse and assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems, identifying integration touch points, data dependencies, and downstream risks.\n\nSupport UAT planning and execution - coordinate with business users, validate test scenarios against requirements, and track defects to resolution.\n\nServe as the primary analytical liaison between business stakeholders and the engineering team, clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities throughout the sprint cycle.\n\nMaintain and version-control analysis artefacts in Confluence, ensuring documentation remains current and accessible to all team members.\n\nScrum Master Responsibilities\nFacilitate all Agile ceremonies for the CRS feature team - daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives - ensuring they are purposeful, timeboxed, and outcome-driven.\n\nCoach and mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile values, Scrum principles, and best practices, fostering a culture of self-organisation and continuous improvement.\n\nWork closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is healthy, well-prioritised, and that upcoming stories are refined and ready for development.\n\nProactively identify and remove impediments - whether process, technical, or organisational - that hinder the team’s ability to deliver.\n\nTrack and communicate sprint metrics including velocity, burndown, and sprint goal progress to the team and stakeholders.\n\nProtect the team from external interruptions and scope creep during active sprints, redirecting requests through the appropriate backlog process.\n\nDrive retrospective actions to completion and measure the effectiveness of process improvements over time.\n\nSupport the team’s Agile maturity journey and contribute to wider delivery practice improvements across the platform team.\n\nReporting Relationships\nReports to:\nPlatform Delivery Manager\nWorks closely with:\nProduct Owner (CRS Feature Team)\nSkills and Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related field.\n\n6 or more years of experience in a System Analyst or Business Analyst role, with demonstrated Scrum Master responsibilities in recent positions.\n\nProven track record of owning analysis artefacts end-to-end - from requirements elicitation through to UAT sign-off - in an enterprise software delivery environment.\n\nHands-on experience facilitating Agile Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams on Agile practices.\n\nStrong proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques - process mapping, use case modelling, gap analysis, and stakeholder workshops.\n\nExperience in the insurance industry (commercial lines, policy administration, claims, or payments) is highly advantageous.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills; able to document complex requirements clearly and present them to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team spanning business, engineering, QA, and architecture.\n\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple analysis streams concurrently across CRS product domains.\n\nProficiency in Agile project management and collaboration tools -
