This role is suitable for someone who has rich experience in Insurance Tech and understands the domain to build Insurance use cases.\nIn this role, you will:\nTranslate product requirements into clean, maintainable technical solutions \nDesign and develop RESTful APIs, integrate with databases, and ensure backend performance and security \nParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions \nMonitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues as needed \nManage entire team, sprint planning, tech estimates and delivery. \nAct as a technical escalation point and provide hands-on problem-solving support \nTake ownership of code quality and ensure adherence to clean code principles\n Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or information systems \nMinimum of 12 years of software engineering experience with deep expertise core programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, .NET, JavaScript, or TypeScript) \nDeep understanding of Insurance domain\nSolid understanding of API Designs, API Security and OOPS Concepts\nExperience building and maintaining full-stack applications \nProficient with relational databases (SQL Server) and basic caching strategies \nCloud experience, preferably Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, Key Vault) \nStrong ownership and accountability mindset \nExcellent collaboration and communication skills \nExperience with leveraging AI capabilities, tools, and practices as a function of current and/or past roles preferred\nThe pay range for the role is $160,000 to $190,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
