Role Overview:

Chubb is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer for the development of insurance web applicationand APIs. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance business and the ability to effectively communicate with both onshore and offshore resources in the development of high-quality software solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy web-based applications and APIs that ensure Chubb's compliance with industry regulations.

Roles &Responsibilities:

• 7+ years of experience in automation and functional testing.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a relatedSTEM field, or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Java

• Knowledgeable abouttesting methodologies and automation tools.

• Property & Casualty insurance domain experience secondary skill set.

• Advanced proficiency in test case design and execution.

• Strong programming skills for test automation.

• Extensive knowledge of testing tools including Playwright, Selenium, APIs, SQL

• Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing processes.

• Experience in applying AI-driven approaches to enhance Quality Engineering practices by accelerating automation development, reducing manual effort, improving test coverage, and supporting smarter test design and maintenance.

Mandatory Skills:Playwright, Manual/Functional testing, AI Tools, P&C background, Mainframe
