An understanding of insurance business domains, especially in the commercial property and casualty space, is highly desirable\nAbility to guide and mentor development teams on sound design and coding principles, along with best practices in integration, API and microservices, resiliency, data and application security, DevOps, and cloud\nExperience with hands-on coding in a modern programming language, such as C#, Java, or Python, and technologies such as .NET, Spring Boot, Camel, Kafka, MQ, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, microservices, REST, SOAP, API management/gateway, containers, and Kubernetes\nExperience leveraging and integrating COTS and SaaS solutions; experience with insurance industry-specific software such as Duck Creek and Insurity is a plus\nProven ability to apply modern design principles, practices, and patterns\nExperience developing roadmaps that outline the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from current to future state\nStrong relational and NoSQL database knowledge\nSome travel, approximately 10-20%, may be required\nThe pay range for the role is $146,000 to $213,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
