The position will primarily be focused on underwriting mono-line property opportunities, however the underwriter will be charged with cross selling and uncovering other lines of business for others within Commercial Insurance.\n\nThis individual must develop book growth, maintain superior relationships and implement effective and profitable pricing rate strategies. Underwriting will include marketing and servicing accounts based on Chubb guidelines.\n\nThe candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a business plan to grow the property book through prospect identification and pipeline development, new business production and account management.\n\nThe Senior Property Underwriter will have accountability for the financial performance of the property book of business, achieving growth for the assigned branch, region and territory. They will identify opportunities for growth within new and existing production sources, identify cross-selling opportunities, conduct agency planning/goal settings including monitoring of progress and make regular broker and insured visits.\n\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.\n\nMinimum of 2+ years of commercial property underwriting experience.\n\nChubb strives to offer a diverse and inclusive and rewarding work environment.
