As a critical member of our Commercial Insurance team, the Technology Underwriter will:\nPortfolio Management & Underwriting Excellence\nOversee a portfolio of new and renewal business across a suite of product lines: Property, General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, Umbrella, International, Errors & Omissions, and Cyber Liability for Global Technology Companies.\nProfitable growth of the Technology book of business within Chubb’s desired risk class, measured by new business production goals, renewal retention, rate strategies, and book mix by line of business.\nEffectively manage the lifecycle of a customer’s program at all stages, executing underwriting rigor and adherence to Chubb’s internal guidelines, enterprise strategies, and industry compliance standards.\nThorough understanding of the products we sell, and the ability to craft unique solutions that add value to our customer’s business.\nDemonstrate underwriting acumen and expertise across underwriting analysis (assessment of exposures and controls), internal and external communication/engagement, and utilization of enterprise tools, systems, and processes.\nUnderstand industry, regulatory, and region-specific market trends as they impact our portfolio and to engage meaningfully with our agents and brokers.\nWork collaboratively with all internal Chubb stakeholders, ensuring we engage and leverage the right team members to drive growth and success.\nMarket Engagement\nDevelop and execute a strategic engagement strategy with our key distribution partners across the region.\nThrough consistent, clear, and meaningful communication, serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for our external partners.\nService oriented, and able to independently identify task-specific next steps to meet service level standards.\nAbility to negotiate thoughtfully, backed by sound judgement.\n Minimum of 5 years Property & Casualty underwriting experience.\nE&O/Cyber experience is preferred, but not mandatory.\nStrong desk management skills.\nStrong communication skills, and able to speak to partners at all levels.\nAbility to effectively execute the tasks as noted above.\nThe pay range for the role is $115,000 to $180,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
