This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading industry practice team with ambitious growth plans, underwriting a portfolio that combines Property & Casualty with Technology exposure, including Professional Indemnity and Cyber.\nIn this role, you will help drive profitable growth across a portfolio of existing and new business, working closely with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders to develop strong relationships and identify new opportunities. You will contribute to underwriting strategy, portfolio management and product development, while helping Chubb achieve its growth ambitions.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nUnderwriting new business and renewals in line with Chubb’s underwriting guidelines, budget and local business plan. \nManaging and developing broker and client relationships to support retention and new business growth.\nSupporting underwriting strategy, forecasts and portfolio management to deliver underwriting profitability. \nUndertaking quantitative underwriting reviews and peer reviews to support quality control and portfolio integrity. \nWorking with colleagues across the UK&I to maximise cross-sell opportunities. \nRepresenting and promoting Chubb to brokers and clients\nContributing to product development and client retention across Technology, PI, Cyber and Property & Casualty. \nSupporting junior colleagues through mentoring, coaching and knowledge sharing where appropriate. \n Significant underwriting experience in the London insurance market\nStrong knowledge of Technology PI and Cyber\nExperience underwriting Commercial Property & Package and/or multinational programmes preferred. \nA proven track record of working with brokers and clients and building strong relationships. \nA results-driven approach with sound judgement, initiative and commercial awareness \nStrong communication, organisation, negotiation and presentation skills\nExperience of leadership, training, mentoring and people development \nACII preferred but not essential\nWe offer in return!\nCompetitive salary & pension scheme, discretionary bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave plus ability to purchase 5 additional days, hybrid working options, Private Medical cover, Employee Share Purchase Plan, Life Assurance, Subsidised gym membership, Comprehensive Learning & development offerings, Employee Assistance program.\nIntegrity. client focus. respect. excellence. teamwork\nOur core values dictate how we live and work.
